This Saturday, January 10, at 2:43 PM, the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium was alerted by the Arrecife Local Police about a traffic accident on C/Tisalaya.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, which involved two vehicles. However, the impact caused oil and other materials to spill onto the roadway, necessitating a swift intervention by firefighters
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and proceeded to neutralize the spilled oil using sepiolite, an absorbent material. In addition, other debris scattered by the accident was removed, and the batteries of the vehicles were disconnected to prevent potential risks.
Once the operation was concluded, the Security and Emergency Consortium informed the Local Police and the control center about the completion of the service and the restoration of safety on the road.
Police officers regulated traffic and drew up the corresponding report
