A fire involving containers in Domingo Ramírez Ferrera square mobilized Lanzarote's Security and Emergency Consortium personnel during the early hours of this Monday.
After 3:40 AM, firefighters from the Central Park station responded to the scene after the CECOES was activated and confirmed that three organic waste containers were burning intensely.
The crew proceeded to extinguish the fire using atomized water, while National Police agents secured the area. Once the flames were extinguished and with no personal injuries reported, the service was concluded
Three prior warnings that turned out to be false alarms
Before the confirmed fire in Domingo Ramírez Ferrera square, firefighters had been activated on two occasions: first for a report on Aniagua street, in the center of Arrecife, and subsequently for another in Argana Alta. In both cases, upon the arrival of units Bravo 5 and Bravo 10, it was confirmed that there was no fire, so no intervention was necessary
