Three hikers who were in distress in the Famara cliff area had to be rescued by helicopter this Tuesday, along with the dog that was with them.
According to Emerlan, the warning was received shortly before 4:00 p.m. through the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES).

The NGO has moved to the area, "near what is known as the Arista de los Noruegos", a search and rescue unit, an ambulance and two intervention vehicles. However, although at around 5:00 p.m. it managed to locate the hikers, it has not been able to reach them, so it has requested air support.

Thus, the helicopter based in Fuerteventura arrived at the scene at around 6:00 p.m., taking charge of carrying out the rescue in two trips. In the first, he transferred two of the people, leaving them in the Emerlan ambulance, and in the second, the one that was missing, along with the dog. According to the NGO, none of them needed further assistance.
