The occupants of a sports fishing boat found the lifeless body of a migrant woman, of legal age, at approximately 12:40 p.m. this Wednesday, about 15 miles south of Arrecife, as confirmed to Europa Press by sources from Maritime Rescue.

The body has been recovered by the Guardamar Concepción Arenal of Maritime Rescue, which later found two other lifeless bodies, also of women, in the same area.

These are three of the 11 people who would have disappeared from the boat rescued during the early hours of this Wednesday and in which Salvamento was able to evacuate 28 people, of Maghreb origin.

The rescued, once on land, indicated that 39 people were traveling in the boat, so after finding the three bodies of women, there would still be eight missing.

Therefore, the search for these people is maintained in a device in which, in addition to the Guardamar Concepción Arenal, the Helimer 204 and a helicopter from the Government of the Canary Islands participate.
