The Yaiza City Council has reopened the beach of Playa Blanca after the water analyzes carried out by Health gave positive results, as Daniel Medina informed La Voz.
The beach was closed last Sunday, August 4, after suffering a spill that was not fecal, "it was water with chlorine from a swimming pool, they probably emptied it and it arrived through the sanitation system to the beach", explained the mayor. "After knowing the analyzes of Sanidad the sand was reopened to bathing", added Daniel Medina.
This sand has already been closed on other occasions but due to fecal spills that arrived through the union of sanitation with rainwater.
