Papagayo beach will remain closed, at least until Monday, after a tanker truck fell off one of its cliffs while preparing to carry out work in the beach bar in this area. On Friday morning, a specialized company removed the vehicle this morning.
For its part, Public Health took samples this Thursday to find out if there has been contamination on this beach due to some possible spill due to the accident.
As reported by the Emergency Consortium, they are analyzing if there is the presence of two bacteria. The results of one of these analyses could be ready in 24 hours, while the other could take 48.
