National Police agents have arrested a 21-year-old man in Arrecife, with numerous police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of damage by fire. He burned, using accelerants, the moped of an acquaintance that was in the public road.
On February 22, several calls to the 091 telephone number alerted of a fire produced in a street in the neighborhood of La Vega de Arrecife, which affected several vehicles and an electrical panel. After being extinguished by firefighters of the municipality, the National Police initiated an investigation that allowed to determine the participation of a young man of 21 years of age, with numerous police records, who supposedly used an accelerant with the intention of burning the moped of an acquaintance.
Once located in the capital of Lanzarote, the alleged perpetrator of the events was arrested for a crime of damage and placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
