National Police agents in Arrecife have arrested N.E.B., 32 years old and of foreign nationality, with a police record, as the alleged perpetrator of two crimes of robbery with force. He was caught leaving one of the homes with various stolen jewels.
The events unfolded after a call to the 091 telephone number from a neighbor, who warned that he had observed an individual trying to break a window to access the home of his neighbor, who was on vacation.
The agents who went to the place checked the exterior of the house, locating an individual on the roof of the house. Upon noticing the police presence, he fled through the neighboring roofs, being reached by the agents shortly after. In the security check, he was found with various jewels from the robbery, which is why he was arrested.
The daughter of the homeowners went to the house, who after checking it, found it open and messy, recognizing the recovered objects. After several police investigations, it was possible to verify the participation of the same perpetrator in another event that occurred in a second home in Arrecife.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
The police intervention was carried out by members of the Local Citizen Security and Judicial Police Brigades of the Arrecife Police Station.
