National Police agents have arrested a 28-year-old man in Arrecife, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force in a home. According to the police force, citizen collaboration and the rapid action of the agents allowed the arrested man not to access the interior of the property after forcing the entrance door.
The events unfolded after a man called the 091 telephone number reporting that an individual was forcing the entrance door of a house.
The agents who went to the place observed an individual in front of a house who, upon noticing the police presence, tried to flee from them, so they proceeded to identify him, resulting in a 28-year-old man with no police record.
In the security check, a screwdriver, a wrench, pliers and a parrot-beak wrench were seized from him. At the same time, the police officers verified that the access door to the house was forced and that the alleged perpetrator could not access the interior of the house.
For all these reasons and once all the extremes were verified, the police officers proceeded to arrest him, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
