National Police agents have arrested F.J.P.L., 42 years old and with numerous police records, in Arrecife as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health. 10 grams of cocaine and 325 euros were seized from him.
The events unfolded when a police unit patrolling the area observed an exchange between two individuals, who tried to evade it when they noticed the police presence. The police officers identified the two men, one of whom admitted to being a habitual cocaine user, so he had come to the place to buy it. The alleged seller was found with 325 euros hidden in one of his socks.Therefore, the agents proceeded to arrest him as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered his release with charges. The police intervention was carried out by members of the Local Citizen Security Brigade of the Arrecife Police Station.
