The Local Police of Arrecife sanctioned another three people in the capital of Conejera last Friday and Sunday for depositing belongings and waste on public roads. This has been shared on their social networks to raise awareness among citizens of the importance of respecting the environment.

The first of the actions was last Friday, when the Police officers observed a man leaving a small wardrobe and a mattress next to a container at around 2:25 p.m. in the Vega neighborhood. Upon seeing the police vehicle, the person involved tried to escape, but ended up being questioned by the Police. When asked, he claimed that he was not aware of the prohibition, according to the agents.

Later last Sunday, the Local Police found two people committing other infractions. In the first they identified the person responsible for depositing bags of manure in domestic waste containers on the Güime road at around 3:15 p.m. Upon approaching the place, the agents counted about twenty bags of manure, which were generating bad odor and insect infestation.

The second intervention was in the Altavista neighborhood at around 4:00 p.m. when the agents observed a person depositing a refrigerator in a vacant lot, at which time he also stated that he had left a wooden furniture.

All of them were informed that they would be sanctioned for their uncivil actions.
