The Local Police of Arrecife arrested last March 14 at approximately 8:35 p.m. on the night of this past Saturday a 29-year-old woman accused of a crime of domestic violence.
According to what the Local Police reported in a statement, the events occurred on the public road. Several witnesses alerted the officers that a woman was assaulting her partner, a 26-year-old man, whom she allegedly hit and threw glass bottles at during an argument in the middle of the street.
When the agents arrived, they interviewed both people and viewed the recordings made by the witnesses.
The officers have stated that both were under the influence of alcohol when the discussion occurred. At the same time, the young man stated that these alleged aggressions would have occurred on other occasions. However, neither of them wanted to file a complaint.
With the testimonies collected and the images viewed, the agents decided to arrest the woman, who was placed at the disposal of the court.
