A woman of about 73 years old was rescued this Thursday by helicopter on the Caldera Blanca mountain, where she had suffered a fall. According to the first assessment, the woman had a sprain.
As it is an area of difficult access, it was the GES helicopter that was in charge of her evacuation, transferring her to the Plaza de la Iglesia de Mancha Blanca. There, an Emerlan basic life support ambulance was waiting, which transferred her to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
In addition to Emerlan personnel and the 112 helicopter, Local Police and Civil Guard agents were also mobilized for the rescue.
