Firefighters from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote acted in the early hours of this Tuesday in the fire of a garden of a dwelling in Playa Blanca. The events took place at 03.00 in the morning on Nepal street, in the tourist town of Yaiza.
Alerted by the Coordination Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES), firefighters were initially informed of a house fire in Playa Blanca. Upon arriving at the scene, where the Local Police of Yaiza and Civil Guard agents were also mobilized, they confirmed that the source of the fire was in the garden of one of the houses and a palm tree.
Therefore, they proceeded to extinguish the fire with spray and jet water.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, in the garden there was quite a bit of dry leaf litter, which helped it spread throughout the garden and end up affecting a palm tree.
