A house in Arrecife, on Avenida de Los Geranios, suffered a fire on Thursday night. At the time of the incident, the house was occupied and with two minors inside. After being evacuated, they all needed medical assistance for smoke inhalation and one of the adults also for minor burns.

The fire occurred around 8:00 p.m. After being alerted by the Security and Emergency Coordination Center of the fire, agents of the National Police moved to the place, who helped the members of the family who were inside the house to leave.

After a first assistance in the place, four people were transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife. In all four cases they were treated for smoke inhalation and their prognosis was mild. The woman, 24 years old, had also suffered various burns, although all of them were also minor. Once the family was outside the building, the firefighters arrived to the area, who, after verifying that there was no one else inside the house, took care of extinguishing the fire. Local Police and Civil Protection personnel also collaborated in the event.
