Agents of the Citizen Security and Intervention Unit of the Local Police of Arrecife reported last Friday the driver of a car "in which several young people put their safety at risk by taking their bodies out and sitting on the window frame".
The vehicle was located thanks to a citizen who, moments before, managed to record the offenders while they were driving through the streets of Arrecife. None of the occupants suffered injuries, although "they did put their own safety at extreme risk".
According to the City Council, the owner of the car will have to provide the Arrecife Local Police with the driver's data, since failure to do so could face a financial penalty that would be around three times the initial amount.
