Agents of the Civil Guard have searched a home in Arrecife this Friday morning as part of a police operation that is still open. The events have taken place on Huelva street in the Altavista neighborhood, where two vehicles and about eight agents have traveled, according to eyewitnesses told La Voz.
The same witnesses point out that the intervention began at about 8 in the morning, when they even blocked the street to traffic, and ended at about 10 o'clock. In addition, they point out that the canine unit used for drug search was also present.
For its part, the Civil Guard has not given details of the operation, since it is part of an investigation that is under summary secrecy in the Courts of Arrecife, so for the moment they have not confirmed whether there have been arrests.
In addition to agents of the Benemérita, the neighbors have also seen agents of the National Police in the area at the same time. However, apparently their presence was not related, since the police would have gone to participate in an eviction of an occupied house.
