The Technical Team of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard is investigating the death of the four-year-old girl who drowned this past weekend in a hotel in Lanzarote, according to sources from the Benemérita confirmed by La Voz.

In this way, the Civil Guard will clarify the circumstances of the death of the minor of British nationality in a swimming pool of a hotel complex in Playa Blanca.

The events occurred last Saturday, when the girl was taken out of the water in cardiorespiratory arrest. A coordinating nurse from the SUC gave instructions to the lifeguard by phone to begin resuscitation maneuvers.

After that, SUC personnel arrived at the scene in two ambulances and a medicalized helicopter, continued to perform advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without obtaining results, confirming the death of the minor.
