The Civil Guard in Lanzarote arrested a woman of Argentinian origin and with Spanish nationality as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force, according to the Press service of the Armed Institute.
According to the police note, the woman, taking advantage of the fact that she was working for a temporary employment company in the Costa Calero hotel in the marina of Puerto Calero (Lanzarote), and knowing that the locker area where the workers change, forced the locker of a colleague and stole her wallet, which contained personal documentation and cash.
Thanks to the selfless collaboration of a citizen who found and handed over the wallet, he alerted the Investigation agents of Tías, who proceeded to reconstruct the events, managing to gather sufficient evidence for her arrest.
Once the police proceedings were instructed, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the Guard Court of Arrecife de Lanzarote.
