The Civil Guard of the Gran Canaria Airport Section arrested this Tuesday, December 23, a woman of Czech nationality, accused of stealing inside an airplane operated by the Air Europa company, in mid-flight.
The Armed Institute received a notice from the Coordination Center of that airport, when the commander of flight UX-9172, from Madrid, requested a police presence at the foot of the plane upon arrival, apparently due to an incident between passengers.
Once the aircraft was parked and the agents were informed by the crew that a passenger had committed several thefts, which were also reported by them, J.S. of Czech nationality was arrested.
This woman, according to a statement sent by the Civil Guard, stole personal belongings, money and lottery tickets worth a total of 570 euros, which were recovered.
