The Cabildo of Lanzarote recommends suspending all outdoor activities until 6:00 p.m. this Friday, December 22, due to the rains.

The Island is in a state of pre-alert for rain during this Friday, decreed on December 21 by the Government of the Canary Islands, since showers with an accumulated precipitation of between 20 and 30 liters per square meter in one hour could occur.

From the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, it is warned that the rains and storms could cause accessibility and security problems in the urban areas of the Island, so, to guarantee the safety of people, it is recommended to suspend any outdoor activity.

According to AEMET, the alert will predictably end this Saturday, December 23. In case of emergency, do not hesitate to call 1-1-2. For any information request, call 0-12.
