Employees of the coastal cleaning service located the remains of a human corpse this past Tuesday, March 18, in a cave in Lanzarote. The discovery took place around 10:30 a.m. in the town of Charco del Palo, in the municipality of Haría, as reported exclusively by La Voz. According to the Civil Guard, initial indications rule out signs of violence in the bone remains.
After locating the remains of the human skeleton in this cave, the employees called the Local Police of Haría. The local agents went to the place and verified that it was the remains of a human body, from the knee to the spine. After that, they alerted the Civil Guard.
The Judicial Police also appeared at the scene to carry out the removal of the body. For the moment, the Civil Guard has not provided more data on the identity of the deceased person, the causes of death, and how long the remains could have been in the cave.
Several readers are hoping that it may be one of the people who disappeared in recent years in Lanzarote, and even Miriam Rodríguez, the mother of Romina Celeste, the young woman murdered by Raúl Díaz in Lanzarote, whose body was never found, only a remnant of a lung, has expressed her expectation that it may be the remains of her daughter.
