The alleged perpetrator of the death of his partner in Gáldar flew to Lanzarote on Monday, where this Wednesday he surrendered at the National Police Station in Arrecife.
The Civil Guard yesterday stopped the search for her body in the surroundings of her small house where they lived together among active and disused banana plantations in the Rojas neighborhood, between the entrance of the old main road to the town and the GC-2 highway, pending analysis to clarify whether the bones found, which had traces of having been burned, are actually of human origin.
Manuel R. C. G. is almost 44 years old, was born in Seville and is registered by the police. He had flown to Lanzarote on Monday, where he had already been located by investigators, but on Wednesday morning he surrendered at the Police Station, having learned that all eyes were on him.
