The Local Police of Yaiza has located a driver who apparently suffered a traffic accident and abandoned his vehicle in Playa Blanca. The agents have ordered the owner to remove the car from the area.
The accident may have occurred on Sunday morning on Japón street. A neighbor of the municipality passed by this road around 12:00 on Sunday and the vehicle still had "the position lights on" and the driver's door was open. She stopped her car to check if there was anyone inside the crashed car, but "there was no one".
Apparently, the vehicle was descending this street, went off the road and ended up a few meters from the road. This witness spoke with a neighbor of the urbanization, who assured that in the morning he had walked the dogs and had not seen the car in the area. Therefore, he deduces that the accident may have occurred shortly before 12:00.
The bumper with the vehicle's license plate was torn off, according to this witness, who called the Police to report these facts. Two hours after the call, the vehicle was still in the area.
From the Yaiza City Council they have assured La Voz that neither the Local Police nor 112 were aware of this accident when it occurred. However, they have already located the owner of the car, who has been asked to remove his car from the area.
