Several people were trapped this Sunday in an elevator in the Lidl in Puerto del Carmen, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. It was the Civil Guard agents who forced the door and took them out.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when CECOES alerted firefighters that there were people trapped in an elevator in the supermarket.
When the firefighters arrived, the people were already out of the elevator, so they were in charge of marking off the establishment with tape and putting up a fence blocking the elevator door on both floors.
