Firefighters went to the La Marina Shopping Center in Arrecife early this Friday to extinguish a cardboard container fire.
Emergency personnel approached the area at around 6:30 a.m., according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
Once on the scene, firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire with sprayed water. After finishing extinguishing the fire, the firefighters checked the area to make sure other containers were not also affected.
In addition, agents of the Local Police also came to the scene.
