A 44-year-old man has been seriously injured with a traumatic brain injury after his car overturned on Avenida de Los Volcanes, in Tinajo.
Around 06:23 hours, an alert was received at the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, reporting the overturning of a vehicle at the address mentioned above. 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. An Emerlan ambulance, a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance, firefighters from the Consortium of Security, Emergencies, Rescue, Prevention and Extinction of Fires of Lazarote and Local Police officers.
The medical personnel of the SUC have performed the initial assistance to the affected person and after stabilizing him, he has been evacuated in a medicalized ambulance to the Molina Orosa hospital. The firefighters have secured the vehicle.
Local Police have carried out the corresponding procedures.
