A 60-year-old man has been seriously injured after being hit by a car on the Rambla Medular in Arrecife. The accident occurred at approximately 1:38 p.m. this Friday when the CECOES was alerted.
Two ambulances, one medicalized and one with basic life support, from the SUC and agents of the Local Police have been dispatched to the scene.
The healthcare personnel have assessed the injured man, who presents a severe traumatic brain injury and other traumas, and once assisted and stabilized, he has been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital where he has been admitted in critical condition.
The Local Police have initiated the corresponding proceedings.
