A 42-year-old man has been moderately injured after a truck and a scooter collided in Arrecife, according to CECOES. This is the second accident involving a scooter in the last two weeks on the island.
The accident took place at about 7 in the morning in Tenderete street in the Argana Alta neighborhood.
After being alerted by CECOES, agents of the Local Police and a basic life support ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service have moved to the place.
The sanitary personnel has assisted the affected person who at the initial moment of the assistance presented moderate polycontusions. Once stabilized he has been transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police has been in charge of securing the area and carrying out the corresponding report.
