Outrage on social media over the celebration of a Dominican group's national day in Arrecife

The celebration for the national day of the Dominican Republic in Arrecife ended with several sanctions for non-compliance with measures against covid and for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Local and Autonomous Police officers made a first intervention at around 8:00 p.m. on Triana Street, where several people had gathered in different cars singing and dancing, where they already imposed some sanctions.

Later, and after receiving calls alerting of illegal races in the Fairground area, the Local Police and National Police officers moved to the place. First, the agents cut off access to traffic in the area and then identified about 150 vehicles and about 300 people participating in the event. Imposing the corresponding sanctions.
