Two passenger cars were involved this Sunday, January 11, in a traffic accident registered on Safantía street, near number 36, in the municipality of Arrecife. The incident took place around 4:32 PM and consisted of a rear-end collision at an intersection on the road.
According to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, personnel from the central station were activated by the CECOES and dispatched to the scene of the accident. Upon arrival, they confirmed that both occupants were already out of the vehicles and appeared to be in good health, so no medical assistance was required.
Firefighter Performance
Once the vehicles were removed from the road by the tow service, firefighters proceeded to clean the roadway and remove glass and plastic debris generated by the impact, in order to guarantee traffic safety in the area.
