The judge of the Court of Instruction Number 3 of Arrecife ordered this Monday the entry into provisional prison for attempted homicide of the three detainees for stabbing a young man in the vicinity of the Arrecife Youth Center.
According to judicial sources, the detainees offered contradictory versions in their statements and blamed each other. However, a statement could also be taken from the victim in the Hospital, who would have recognized the three arrested.
As for the assaulted young man, who was admitted in critical condition to the Molina Orosa Hospital and had to undergo emergency surgery twice, he remains hospitalized but is "stable". According to sources consulted by La Voz, the young man was transferred to the ward on Sunday and is progressing favorably.
The attack took place on Thursday afternoon and, according to witnesses, the alleged aggressors were three young men who used "large knives" to attack the victim, a 19-year-old young man.
After the events, on Friday morning the National Police arrested the three alleged aggressors, who have been in provisional prison since this Monday.
