A 49-year-old man died this Tuesday in Lanzarote victim of a collision between two cars registered at 3:09 p.m. on kilometer 3 of the LZ-56 road, which connects La Geria and Tinguatón, municipality of Tinajo.
According to data provided by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES 1-1-2), a second man, 26 years old, who was driving the other crashed vehicle, was injured with less severity, so he was urgently evacuated by an ambulance to the General Hospital of Lanzarote.
Two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) went to the scene of the accident. The Firefighters also came, releasing the deceased from his own vehicle, while the Civil Guard was in charge of controlling traffic and preparing the appropriate report.
