The firefighters of the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote extinguished the flames of a total of 15 containers and three vehicles in Arrecife. The events took place from 3.10 am, when firefighters were alerted by the National Police and the Local Police of several container fires in the capital.
In total, ten organic containers, one plastic, two glass and two cardboard containers were affected, as well as three vehicles affected in Chimia Street.
Specifically, the firefighters intervened in Francisco Matallana Cabrera street, Chimia street, Guatisea street and Granada street.
In the case of Francisco Matallana street, in the Altavista neighborhood, even the properties near the containers were at risk. In addition, the three organic waste containers affected in this road were completely burned.
