A 30-year-old motorcyclist dies in a head-on collision with a vehicle in Teguise. The accident took place at around 12:00 noon this Sunday, according to CECOES reports.
The accident occurred around 12:00 noon at kilometer 30 of the LZ-1 towards Órzola, in the municipality of Teguise.
Upon the arrival of a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance, the patient had been in cardiorespiratory arrest for 20 minutes, but a nurse who found the accident had performed CPR maneuvers.
The driver of the motorcycle had fractures in both lower limbs, a pelvic fracture, and severe internal bleeding. As for the driver of the car, he had minor injuries.
Then, the José Molina Orosa University Hospital was alerted to prepare all the staff, as the patient was transferred in PCR.
