The Polimnia coast guard vessel, mobilized by the Las Palmas Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (CCS), is towing a motorboat with two people on board this Sunday afternoon, October 26. The boat was adrift south of Papagayo, in Lanzarote.
According to Maritime Rescue, the operation is still underway and the tow is destined for Puerto Calero, where they are expected to arrive in the next few hours.
