Maritime Rescue intercepts a boat near Arrecife

Seven people have arrived on the boat, including a minor. Three of the immigrants have been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital

Maritime Rescue has intercepted a boat with seven people on board in waters of Lanzarote, including a minor. 

After being transferred to the commercial dock of the capital, the immigrants have been attended by the Red Cross, transferring three of them by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital with symptoms of dehydration. 

As for the rest of the occupants, they are "afebrile and asymptomatic for Covid, with good general condition", as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium. 

The boat was located around 3:15 p.m. near Arrecife and, according to what they have transferred from 112, it was a semi-rigid boat. 

The immigrants have stated that they left Tarfaya and have been on board for three days.
