Man injured after falling among rocks in Papagayo

The affected person has been transferred to Doctor Molina Orosa Hospital, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.

Firefighters have rescued an injured man in Papagayo. The accident occurred this Thursday around 7:37 a.m. between the beaches of Las Mujeres and Papagayo, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.

Alerted by Cecoes, the emergency teams have moved to the area to assist the injured man, who suffered a possible sprain in his left leg, after falling between the rocks.

In order to access this difficult area, the firefighters helped the injured man by entering the water with a jet ski. After taking him out of the sea and taking him to the shore, he was transferred to Doctor Molina Orosa Hospital.

An ambulance from the Canary Health Service (SUC) also approached the scene and proceeded to assess the man's condition.
