A 36-year-old man was attacked at the taxi rank of the Marina Lanzarote port in the early hours of last Sunday.
The incident took place at around 06:00 in the morning, when a person of North African origin, around 35 years old, approached the man and cut his arm with a bottle or glass to steal his mobile phone. The injuries were such that the affected person needed between four and five stitches.
After alerting the National and Local Police, the agents went to Marina Lanzarote, but the attacker had already fled in a black car. The Police maintain that there is already an open investigation into this robbery with violence, but no arrests have yet been made.
