Two men were arrested last Saturday, June 24 for an attempted robbery in a premises in the center of Arrecife, specifically on Riego Street.
The events occurred at 7:30 p.m. when the agents surprised the thieves, 24 and 36 years old, while they were trying to force the door of a premises.
In addition, at the moment they were caught, when they saw the patrol car, one of the thieves touched his companion's shoulder and dropped the wrench he was holding to open the door. Moments later they tried to flee the place, according to police sources.
Finally, the two involved in the attempted robbery were arrested.
