Lifeguards have assisted a 60-year-old woman of British origin with signs of drowning on Las Cucharas beach in Costa Teguise.
Once alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police and an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service have moved to the sand.
The lifeguards have provided initial assistance until the arrival of the sanitary personnel who have continued with their assistance. Once stabilized she has been transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police has collaborated with the emergency services.
