The family of Antonio Isaac Trujillo, the 30-year-old who died last Carnival Tuesday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has launched a statement on social networks to ask for citizen collaboration and be able to identify the rest of those responsible for his death.
In the statement, the family asks "that justice be done" and begs "the collaboration of anyone who can provide testimony or images that help clarify the facts."
In this sense, the family asks citizens to provide any type of information anonymously and with complete confidentiality, whether it be a recording or any other type of detail. A specific email has been enabled for this: justiciaporisaactrujillo@gmail.com.
So far, two people involved in the brutal attack have been arrested. One of them, a 19-year-old from Gran Canaria and an engineering student, accused of alleged manslaughter by eventual intent, was released after paying a bail of 6,000 euros. In addition, the withdrawal of his passport and the obligation to appear in court every fifteen days have been imposed as precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, the second person who was arrested is being investigated for a crime of injury. This defendant, also from Gran Canaria and residing in Lanzarote, has been released on bail.
