Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium assisted a driver who had an accident on Carlos III street in Arrecife on Friday night.
The events took place around 10:20 p.m., when the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES) was alerted and activated the service. The affected person had to be transferred on a mountain stretcher to a safe area, where an all-terrain vehicle picked him up to take him to an ambulance, since the area was difficult to access.
The injured person was transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. Meanwhile, the firefighters were in charge of moving the vehicle, disconnecting the battery and cleaning the road to allow the circulation of the rest of the vehicles.
