Firefighters from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote and La Graciosa intervened during the early hours of this Friday due to a house fire in Nazaret, in the municipality of Teguise.
According to sources from Emergency, the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, before 02:30 AM, and originated in the electrical panel of the garage.
Upon the arrival of the firefighting team, the owner of the house had already controlled the fire. Furthermore, the entire family had left the house and were outside the dwelling. The garage and the entire house were flooded with smoke.
Given this situation, the firefighters began ventilating the house and cut off the external power supply, as the electrical panel and part of the installation were affected by the fire.
After requesting an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service, because some family members had inhaled smoke, the owner of the house was transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital for a health assessment.
The Local Police of Teguise were at the scene of the service.
