Firefighters rescued an Italian tourist who had an accident in Caldera Blanca this Tuesday, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The affected woman, who had injuries to her hands and legs, suffered a fall after fainting from heat stroke.
The incident took place around 5:00 p.m., when CECOES was alerted. An ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, Civil Protection, Local Police and firefighters went to the scene.
The firefighters transferred her on a stretcher to a safe area to later take her in an all-terrain vehicle to the ambulance and evacuate her to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
