Firefighters have extinguished the fire of four containers in Puerto del Carmen, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The heat from the flames has also affected four vehicles that were parked near the containers.
The fire took place at around 4 am this Sunday on Teide Street in the town. The containers, which were for collecting organic waste, plastics and glass, have been completely burned.
Agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police have also traveled to the place.
Another fire in San Bartolomé
The firefighters also acted on Saturday night in another container fire on Los Reyes street in San Bartolomé. Local Police officers extinguished the flames with an extinguisher and later the firefighters extinguished it completely. It was an organic waste collection container.
