The Emergency Consortium has rescued five people lost in the Los Ajaches area in the municipality of Yaiza this Tuesday. At around 2:30 p.m., Cecoes was alerted that 5 hikers were "disoriented and lacking food and water."
The firefighters have moved to the La Fuentita ravine where they have located the five people. Once on the scene, they hydrated them with water and mineral salts and later transferred them to Papagayo where they had a car.
In addition, two other hikers from the group who had gone to look for another vehicle in Femés were located by Civil Protection.
