Firefighters rescued this Tuesday afternoon two teenagers in distress who could not return to shore, in the town of Famara. The events occurred around 5:50 p.m., according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
After being alerted by the CECOES, they appeared at the service with a jet ski and the skipper located the young people in distress 50 meters from the coast.
Later they picked up the teenagers and took them to the dock to avoid any risk on the shore. Next, and after completing the rescue, the fire department requested the cancellation of the helicopter.
