The Emergency Consortium had to rescue a 73-year-old hiker with problems on the La Corona volcano this Friday.
Around 11:22 a.m., CECOES received a call alerting them that a hiker was in distress, had fainted, and had vomited several times.
When the firefighters arrived, the affected woman was stable but needed a medical evaluation. Emergency personnel transferred her to the ambulance, and from there, she was evacuated to Molina Orosa.
