Firefighters rescued a 68-year-old German tourist this Thursday who had suffered a fall near the Caldereta mountain, between Caldera Blanca and Mancha Blanca.

According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the woman had broken her wrist and was about 3 kilometers from the road.

Upon arrival, the firefighters were in charge of placing a splint on her and transferring her on the rescue stretcher to Caldera Blanca, where they already had an all-terrain vehicle waiting. With it they took her to the ambulance, which was waiting near the Tenesar road.

Personnel from Civil Protection and agents from the Tinajo Local Police also came to the scene, who collaborated with the transfer.
